Very patriotic but delusional marketing. Tilt rotor has been a proven FAILURE for multiple technical & operational reasons. This crashed & burned LITERALLY in the LAST decade. And in THIS decade the game changers are drone swarms, loitering munitions & autonomous targeting. Next decade is unknowable.

Current tilt rotor isn’t allowed to fly more than 30 minutes from an approved field, and CMV-22 cannot be used for underway ship replenishment once an aircraft carrier leaves its home port. Tilt rotor technology as it sits now is a failure, and no more military members’ lives should be sacrificed while Bell, Boeing, and the military sort out whether the tech is actually viable.

And what happens if one of the engines gets hit ? This should have FOUR engines and FOUR BLADES just like a Drone. Just build a giant Quad rotor drone already, because even if you have three engines left you can still hover. I honestly have no faith in a two engine system, esp because the engines stick so far out from the aircraft body, making it an easier target.
